With over a decade nestled in the esteemed realm of hospitality, I, Aldo E Pena Herrera, have been bestowed with the privilege to learn, evolve, and master the art of quintessential service. My journey, intricately woven through esteemed establishments, is marked by engagements with culinary virtuosos, acclaimed sommeliers, and distinguished service directors, each leaving an indelible mark on my professional odyssey.

I am an alumnus of the illustrious Angler SF at the Embarcadero in San Francisco, a haven where my talents burgeoned until the unprecedented tides of COVID-19 momentarily stemmed my professional sojourn. Prior to this engagement, I was ensconced in the opulent surroundings of The Restaurant at Meadowood in St. Helena, a Michelin three-starred masterpiece and a recipient of the coveted James Beard Outstanding Service Award, a testament to our unwavering commitment to service par excellence.

My genesis in this enigmatic world was at Fiola, a Michelin one-star restaurant in the heart of Washington D.C., a crucible where my foundations in delivering impeccable service and hospitality were meticulously laid.

Yet, amid these prestigious stints, my insatiable thirst for knowledge and perfection remained unquenched. Hence, my foray into the enigmatic world of wines and spirits, a journey currently punctuated by my affiliation with the revered Wine & Spirits Education Trust program. As I ardently stride towards attaining my level two certification, each day unfurls new realms of knowledge, further augmenting my prowess.

In my sojourn of over fourteen splendid years, every dawn heralds an opportunity to refine my craft, a pursuit I undertake with profound humility and unrestrained vigor.
